Bourton-on-the-water
Regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, Bourton-on-the-Water has more than its share of Cotswold houses and cottages, many of them three hundred years old, some dating back to Elizabethan times four hundred years ago. The Larches is situated along Station Road, one of main arterial routes to the town centre, which is less than ¼ of a mile from the property.
Bourton-on-the-Water has been described as the 'Little Venice' of the Cotswolds and straddles the river Windrush with its series of elegant low bridges beside neat tree shaded greens and tidy stone banks.
It is one of the most popular tourist spots which include the Model Village, Birdland and is positioned alongside nearby larger towns, including Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Cheltenham.

Bourton-on-the-Water has good retail, commercial, leisure and educational facilities. In this latter respect as well as good primary schools at secondary level, it has the Cotswold School, which is one of the most highly regarded in Gloucestershire.
The modern leisure centre has an indoor swimming pool and Astro Turf, both about ¼ of a mile from this site.
